Label design drafts
The white ceramic bottle with the watercolor label represents the 2023/2024 production packaging. It harmoniously join the two nature of the brand: the strong root to tradition and the young fun yet elegant approach of the brand.
Label Design
The strategy was based on the branding of the premium olive oil as a natural wine to both enhance the distinctive quality and high market placement of the product and promote the visual imagery recognizable by the target audience: food and wine enthusiasts.
After the creative concept was designed, a set of illustrations was developed by the artist Domitilla Pastore to base the packaging design and brand identity.
The subject chosen from the brand manager included a pattern of the olive trees and a redesign of the family stamp of the Masseria Strada, location of production of the olive oil. The brief submitted to the illustrator placed the focus on the watercolor technique and on a colder but fresh color palette to evacuate the product: cold pressed extra virgin olive oil with a herbal sharp flavor.
Branding
The elegance of the illustration evacuates their strong traditional roots since the Strada Family olive yard has olive trees up to 100 years old and has been producing olive oil since the early 19th century.
The font choice embrace the updated and experimental approach of the brand's owners that aim to promote a new gastronomical appeal with the launch of their product.
La Termitosa shapes into a reality that offers more than a premium product but becomes promoter of gathering people through tradition and a signature slow-chic countryside lifestyle.
